Air Gear // Chapters 185 to 189
This shounen is really good, but I admit I never read how their skills work. Seriously, most of the time I don’t think they make sense. Ha ha.
Anyway, I’m kind of worried somehow, to where they are going now…especially with Agito.
Seriously, even though I do like Nakayama, Agito doesn’t need romance, IMO. He has slowly melted in Kogarasumaru, Akito is quite in love with Ikki, and Agito basically exists for Akito.
Because of this character I started reading Air Gear, but I thought he was the main character and that there were two twins. Obviously it wasn’t the case, but the character’s design, style and double personality is obviously attractive. Akito even gives us plently of shounen-ai whenever he wants to. =D
Speaking of which, it brings us to this question I’ve been reading on forums after Nakayama saying she loves him to Emily. Whoa, that was quite unexpected, I thought she liked Ikki? Or I may have confused things…but when Ringo was trying to get Ikki with the kimono and all Emily asked her if she wasn’t going to do anything about it.
Akito’s tastes rely on men, obviously, and being the same entity…I suppose Agito is as well, gay. Like, gay for Akira.
Air Gear has shown that characters introduced by the 150 chapter can be awesome -like Kururu- and that secondary characters will become as important as the main one all of a sudden -Kazu-, and while we all knew Emily was going to appear a lot more, Nakayama is suddenly showing signs of life. Will she be a tuner? And what’s this many scenes with Agito…I don’t want her to be with him, it’s like everyone is going to get someone, and it’s quite disturbing to -let’s use the imagination- you are dating someone whose other side is all for Ikki, a guy.
As for Vertingetorix (was it?), I adore his character design. X3

You’re totally right!! [even if i love AgitoAkito to be together ^^]
Nakayama may go with… Onigiri or someone else!!

It’s riduculous, I agree. AirGear’s fans are going to drastically drop because of all these hintings at everybody hooking up with everyone. Nakayama’s well… o_o;; Let’s just say I had to look her up on Google before remembering who she was. They shouldn’t make secondary characters become so important in such a short period of time. -_-

I agree. I’m not to happy about this whole “tra la la everyone’s gettiing a significant other” scenario. I mean, who are all the rabid fangirls supposed to fangirl over? And I didn’t even know Nakayama was Yayoi until I looked it up on Google. Apparently, she wasn’t very important until now.
